WDX and Lister Plugins - Consensus Favorite for PDFs?

I'm interested in installing a plugin for PDFs. When I visit the TotalCMD.net website, there are many listed with PDF capabilities. Which is the consensus favorite (subjectively best) plugin for PDFs?

I only know about shell PDF plugins, here www.zabkat.com/blog/pdf-reader-shell-integration.htm
as for TC, i think in the main program page (not totalcmd that seems a secondary page), there are some plugins listed and I take them to be "recommended"

Thanks for the link to your blog post. I have PDF xChange installed as my default PDF handler. After reading your blog post, I'm satisfied that I have the preferred setup.
