How to execute edited batch file?

I select some files and bring up the Script Wizard. I want to edit the generated batch file and then execute it. But when I hit Edit the Script Wizard closes, and if I bring it back I lose my edits.

Either I or x2 is missing something here

after you edit you have to manually d-click on the batch file
if you are in dual pane mode x2 will bring it in the inactive view before editing, for your convenience
