Hello
Due to some unexpected "file moves" (in fact directory) the directory tree of my photos collection is mixed-up (but not the file in the directories). Fortunately I have a good archive from where I can extract the good tree.
Now I am trying to compare the two trees.
I managed to put, in a dual pane scrap-container, the 2 'trees' (result of a search of directory only) then I use "synchronization" (Ctrl+F9). It seems to work : the panes show several 'directories' marked, over the directory icon, with a red dot containing white question mark. There should be only a few tens of marked lines over several hundred lines.
Here is the question : how to group these marked 'directories' lines. The marked lines do not seem to be selected, Visual filter "Only selection" Ctrl+Alt+J is grey.
Thank you for your advices, I will appreciate to clean the mess In my photos
I am using X2 v3.4.0.1 19/03/2017 on w7

Re: How to compare directory tree
when you do the synchronization with ctrl+F9 tick the option (select items that are) Undetermined. These are those with the question mark. YOu cannot do grouping upon the synchronization status
