Color tagged files

Is it by design that color tagged files are not displaying any color when the “Item icons” are set to “Plain (fastest)”? Should I change my icon settings?

correct
but if you use "simple" icons, they are as fast and color tagging works

OK. I’ll switch to “simple” icons. But I hate colored icons. I have tons of .htm or .html files with Google Chrome Canary icons. These icons are nice but they are such an attention grabber that I find them distracting… Other icon types are also a nuisance…

ok next version i will add an option "no icons whatsoever"
