my dvd drive is gone in the symbols drivebar.
i need self add the drive.

most likely you need TOOLS > ADVANCED OPTIONS menu command. In there look for a property in the GLOBAL page saying "don't check for empty drives, list all in drivebar", and tick it. Then your DVD will appear
