I saw a message from x2 (Ult x64, 4.4) that I've never seen before:

Shall we try opening a new xplorer2 window?

I said No and everything was fine, but can you tell me what it means? I was in a large network folder--working from home over WiFi--and things were going slowly (but not too bad).

this means the background thread was stuck in a long task, and couldn't service things like icons and slow details. Nothing serious
