Here's another non-essential suggestion for GUI improvement.
It happens now and again I have to resize a column (date or size mostly) manually. I don't want to use the autosize column command since it adjusts alle of them and my file names are often very long so I don't want the showing in full length.
It would be nice to have a command to just autosize a single column either by right-click or a quick double-click (or both) on the column in question.

Re: autosizing a single column
have you tried double-clicking on the column divider line?

No.
Good one.
(Also a general Windows function as it seems. Shame on me.)
Consider this "request" filled.
