Is it worth resintalling to troubleshoot a problem?
If I want to try to solve a problem by uninstalling and reinstalling and I export my settings beforehand and then restore them, does that just bring everything back to the exact state it is now and therefore negates the purpose of reinstalling? In other words if it's possible something got messed up in the program itself as opposed to the settings , then a fresh install is worth trying. But if the program part can't get corrupted then it's the settings and I would have to try a clean install and manually change all the settings to the way they are now.
