I might be getting senile but I can no longer color tag files. The Quick Help says:
To tag a file (or a bunch of files), select them, click with the right mouse button, and from the Color tag submenu choose the color you like.
To untag a file (cancel the color tag), use the Clear tags command from the same context submenu.
But the right-click context menu for files does not include any Color tag or Clear tags commands or submenus (5.3.0.0 ULT x64 25/11/2022)
What am I missing?

Re: Color Tags
if you have disabled xplorer2 menus from the context menu (using advanced options), then to use colors you must add the COLOR TAG button on your toolbar through customization

Thanks, Nikos
I put that button on my toolbar. I can now color tag files. But the tagged files are not colored at all. They are visible as such only when they are filtered through the color filter button in the addressbar. And even then, the file names are not colored! They look like ordinary untagged files!

Re: Color Tags
I am not in high DPI.
I increased the color tag border size from 1 to 5. No luck!
Any other idea?

Re: Color Tags
i think the answer is that you have icons set to PLAIN. Any other icon category will do, including no icons
