Re: declone vs the other duplicate music scanners
Being the German translator for Similarity, I am probably just as biased as you are
- but having "no video files" as a negative point when comparing duplicate music scanners is an interesting decision... another Similarity non-issue is:

My duplicates usually have good reasons, except if they don't. Automatically marking duplicates would be weird - how would Similarity decide which one I'd like to keep?No filters or automatic duplicate marking
It does not.i-DeClone began its life as a tool inside our xplorer², so it feels almost as a file manager.

Re: declone vs the other duplicate music scanners
where did I say similarity doesn't do videos? And at any rate if a program does music AND videos, then it's an advantage, no?
ps. I didn't know you were also doing translations... perhaps there's a vacancy for xplorer2, interested? The previous guy has gone AWOL

In the comparison table, labeled “Information correct as of 7-Feb-2023”.
Not every feature is an advantage per se. My bike can’t cook, it still is a better bike than others.nikos wrote: 2023 Feb 12, 05:35And at any rate if a program does music AND videos, then it's an advantage, no?
In theory, yes. Be aware that my Windows usage has declined though, so I’m not quite as ready all the time anymore than back in the day.nikos wrote: 2023 Feb 12, 05:35 ps. I didn't know you were also doing translations... perhaps there's a vacancy for xplorer2, interested?
