Running 2.8.2.0. Just tried to use Geotag Search to get coordinates for a rectangle. The "Choose Map Coordinates" dialog just displays "Please wait for map". I did get an error message telling me to restore my internet connection or something like that, but I am already connected. I can pull up Google Maps in my browser, but I can't load a map into the Deskrule dialog.
UPDATE: tried it again on a different PC. This time I didn't get "Please Wait for Map". I got the dialog box that tells me I need to copy the google maps url for the desired rectangle and then click the import button in Deskrule. I did so but the imported values are way off from the area I had shown in Google Maps. Google Maps tells me the upper left of the area is 30.450477716103244, -97.60613728344607, and bottom right is 30.44947834872577, -97.60370835289717.
But when I click the import, Deskrule shows latitude range of 30.1043 .. 31.005 (should be 30.4494 .. 30.4504) and longitude range of -98.0591 .. -97.0129 (should be -97.6061 .. -97.6037).

Re: geotag search not working - "please wait for map"
the old method no longer works since google dropped IE
for the new method via importing, you need to manually enter the RANGE in kilometers.
deskrule only imports the approximate "center" of the search from google maps
see this demo video for details
