Beta nix for dirkey 2.0a with Beta 0.9.0.70?

Post by tadmor »

I searched the site on this, but I don't think it's been covered.

Has anyone got dirkey 2.0a to work with x2 Beta 0.9.0.70? Maybe it's just a setup problem, but dirkey won't work for me.

False alarm

:oops: I just recalled that I overlooked dirkey as a possible victim of my recent run-in with Sasser. So, I re-downloaded and updated, and everything seems back to normal there, including x2.

You don't need dirkey anymore x2 can support multiple bookmark. So there is no need for dirkey. :lol:

x2 bookmarks

Yeah, x2 has a bookmarks feature, but its activation is limited to using a mouse.

Or, is there a way to use key presses?

After you define your bookmark(s), you can assign keyboard shortcuts from dialog in Bookmarks|Organize...|{propertiesbutton}
[edit/add: I see nikos beat me to it]
enjoy :D

Patience ... it's "out for beta testing" ...
& unless nikos wants to put you on that team, you will have to wait. :shrug:

but ... If you are hot to evaluate it and provide feedback, it wouldn't hurt to ask nikos via PM (he can always say "no")
You would need to tell him your real email & may want to say why you should evaluate it at this time.
