When I choose KB view for the file size, the size is displayed as "2.462KB". Is there a reg setting to eliminate the fractional part?
Sorry if I missed something obvious.
Reg setting?

Thanks, I've been meaning to ding nikos on that.
The purpose in my mind of having a kB/MB/GB option is to limit display to only the 3-4 most significant digits & also permit reduced column width while retaining desired information. As it is with 3 decimals on kB, the min necessary display width is wider. Really, in that mode, I would like to see only 3 sig.digits, which leads to no more tha 2 fractional dec.places.
[but as this does not affect functionality, I expect this s/b put off until first "clean-up release" following official shareware product introduction]

@ flamed again >> This is a friendly "family" -- All opinions respected, & no flames allowed. But as in any lively family, there will be some jousting and jesting,
all of it well-intentioned or tongue-in-cheek (we hope).
I think we all recognise that Explorer has set the (de-facto) standard -- even though it is very good in many ways, it's just not always on the mark -- so it makes a wonderful target.
xplorer² isn't perfect either (yet), but it's a whole lot easier to use in most cases, is much more capable, and we're trying to work together cajoling (/badgering/harrassing) nikos to comb out the 'nits' on the way to a super product release.
@ no fractional digits >> That is also a good way to go, maybe even to be preferred; but I won't be looking for a change in present appearance any time soon, unless it's so easy to do that nikos wants to address it as a 'break' from working on thornier issues.
