Open a folder in the opposite window pane

Hello all,
I have an easy question, and sure it was asked and answered before, but I dont find any about it. It is next:

How can I open a folder which appears in one window pane in the opposite window pane?.

Normally, when you d-click a folder, the folder is open in the same window. Sometimes I want to open a folder, but still having the root directory in the original pane, so I could open another folder from the same root directory

I haven't seen this Q before,
but you could try a two-step procedure starting with Ctrl+I to bring inactive pane to same place as active pane, then separately d-click the subfolders of interest (one in each pane).

Press ALT and double-click on the folder. (If you have activated the single-click mode, just a single click is required).

The folder will be opened in the opposite pane.

** If you don't want to use mouse, select the folder using arrow keys and press ENTER while you keep the ALT key pressed.

kike-Ast, in general, the ALT key redirects the output to the inactive pane. Try this-

** Press ALT while you click in folder tree pane, or
** Enter an path in the Address Bar and press ALT+ENTER

In a logically related way-
** ALT+CTRL+I loads the inactive pane into active pane (reverse of CTRL+I)

ALT key won't work in this way with menu commands or toolbar buttons, though.

errata: actually alt does work with toolbar buttons (e.g. bookmarks placed there), except for back/forward
