One of the (many) features that I liked in 2xExplorer (and is available in explorer2 as well) is the ease of switching between different predefined layouts - horizontal panes to vertical, etc.
However, I find that switching between layouts now causes a clone of explorer2 to come up (which I did not want) - is there a way of changing the layout in the same instance ?
And how is it that in a program where everything (ok ... almost everything
) can be done using shortcuts does not have one for "Close" ? 
Can Control-W be used instead (it is the designated shortcut in most internet browsers to do exactly this), instead of listing the various explorer2 running ?
