I am using x2 lite 1.0.0.1 and can't launch the F3 view key.
I am able to use the F4 edit key with no problems.
The error message says:
Cannot launch editor/viewer: check command line in
Tool | Options Window error = 3: The system cannot
find the path specified.
I checked the path in the options box and the full path
is listed. I don't know why it won't launch.
Can you help?

The F3 key works fine for me, however after using it and pressing F4 Editor2 treats the file as "Read Only" again? Shouldn't only pressing F3 treat the file as "Read Only" ?
Editor: C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_lite\editor2.exe
Viewer: C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_lite\editor2.exe
Strange, I just tried this in 2xEplorer (with edit/view set to External)
Pressing F3 opens the file in Read Only mode in the internal editor and pressing F4 opens the file in normal mode in Editor2 !!! So thats why I never had a problem with Read Only before but instead there was another gliitch I didn't pick up on. The internal editor shouldn't have been used at all.

the best way to use editor2 is as follows:
* clear all paths from Tools | Options | General | Editor/Viewer
(unless you want some external editor of your choice)
* quit x2
* delete the old szEditor2Path from the registry
next time you restart x2, it will pick ed2 from the zabkat installation folder
these problems occur for people that have tried x2 back in the alpha testing period
