speed up latency/refresh rate between operations?

xplorer2 is a bit slower than 2xExplorer for basic operations (delete, move, copy, drag & drop). Is there any registry setting I could implement that decreases this delay?

For example, when I drag & drop a text file into a folder it takes about half a second for the file to disappear. In 2xExplorer it was instantaneous.

When I delete a file, it takes about half a second to disappear. When an external program renames a set of files, it takes about 1 second for the file list to refresh/update. In 2xExplorer it was instantaneous.

Perhaps this latency I'm experiencing is the 1 second delay he's referring to?

your concern is mostly psychological
you need to be reassured that the job was done
have no doubt that x2 does the job as quickly only it takes its time to update the view. You can continue working without thinking about it!

Continue working maybe, without thinking about it, not for a while. It's going to take some getting used to. It drives me nuts.
