Filter and History List

Would you please discuss the file filters and history list.

Suppose I want to view all of the *.bak files in folder C:\Prgmg\MyCode. I navagate to C:\Prgmg\MyCode, append "\*.bak", hit return and now only the backup files are shown.

(Incidently, I just learned that I could use Ctrl-J to restore the entire list.)

Why doesn't the history list show C:\Prgmg\MyCode\*.bak? It only shows C:\Prgmg\MyCode.

It would be nice, after Xplorer2 is shutdown and restarted to click on a history item C:\Prgmg\MyCode\*.bak. Unfortunately, only the C:\Prgmg\MyCode appears in the history list, and I need to re-enter the "\*.bak" filter.

the addressbar history only remembers paths
for wildcards there's a separate list accessible via ctrl+H
