If all is going well - read the manual!

Post by wavy c »

Normally this would be "if all else fails, read the manual!" But even if xplorer is working well for you and you think you know your way around the program pretty well, I would recommend that you download and at least browse through the manual.

I'd been using xplorer for about three weeks before getting around to doing this - and though I knew enough about file managers not to have to bother about manuals. After a quick skim through part of this well laid out pdf file, I was amazed at how many features I'd been missing out on.

To name but one, I had no idea that holding down Alt while clicking on the paths at the top an xplorer pane opened the higher folder in the other pane. It might seems like a small thing, but I have found this increadibly useful since 'discovering' it.

So do yourself a favour - read the manual!

But where's the helpfile?

Post by Kroegteigetje »

Indeed, great program and I would like to read the manual.
Unfortunately, when I click help/content, I get the message that the helpfile (x2ocs.pdf) should be downloaded seperately. Clicking on the button should lead me to the xplorer2 website where it should be available for download. This however leads to a link that downloads the program itself again.
Anyone have an idea where I can download this pdf?

Thnx!!
