Show Offline folders with a different icon

Post by tgsteiger »

Hi, thanx for your great x2 Tool. It helps a lot by my dayli work.

I marked successfully with x2 pro 1002 some offline folders. The only thing I'm missing now are the special Icons for all the offline files/folders.

What do I have to do for using "correct" icons?

Thanx 4 your Help!

does your explorer show different icons for such folders?
is this windows behaviour or is it some 3rd party program?

Weird that this feature request doesn't show up on this forum.

Microsoft uses offline folders to make a local copy of a selected part of your folderstructure. These offline files present themselves as a normal file tree, and can be manipulated as such. As soon as you reconnect with the server, all local changes are automatically synchronised.
Though not perfect, it is a very usefull feature for those travelling and wanting to work with (parts of) their shared files.

Microsoft Explorer indicates that a folder is sychronised through a changed icon (much like a shared folder has a changed icon). Xplorer2 does not indicate that a folder is off-line through a changed icon, which is a nuicanse. I actually need to use MS Explorer to find out which parts of the file tree are offline.

Small enhancement, great comfort.
