Well, I'm a new user of xPlorer² Pro (I have a real experience with Directory Opus)
I want to know if It's possible to transfer the comments that I attached to some files/folders to a new machine or when I reinstall the OS or xPlorer²; or is it possible to backup all the settings ? (included comments attached to the files or folders), and if yes how ?

comments are integral parts of the file, and as long as the target is on a NTFS partition, comments are preserved when you copy the file
i am not sure how comments are handled by backup programs; you'd have to find one that preserves "alternate data streams".
one program i know for sure preserves them is winrar
