Folder tree (2)

Post by homer »

Sorry, my question wasn't clear :?
What I exacly mean is that it could be useful
to automatically expand the folder tree
when I 'enter' inside a directory in the file pane.

This is the behaviour of windows explorer and (up to me)
the only thing that xplorer2 is missing.
By the way, a link to folder properties could be useful too.

Thank you for the free app and go on this way.

Marco.

Turn on the option 'Keep synchronized with folder in active view pane' in the 'Window' tab of the options dialog under the 'Tree' header (menu Tools|Options...)

That'll expand the folder in the tree when you enter in it in the active file pane :)
Dumb questions are the ones that are never asked :turn:

If all you want is to keep the tree view synchonized with folder in active view pane, then click the ooption to do that on the
Tools | Options... /Window\ tab :)

But even winExplorer doesn't expand its folder view below the current level (at least not on my XP), unless you had previously done that for the path you are browsing.

[sorry, JRz, I blinked & you beat me to the response ;) ]
