Is there any way I can add a separate Folder tree pane to the right hand panel so that each panel would have its own dual panes as in MS (and one of your rivals )
I have found it quite difficult to remember and very annoying to have to use the one pane for both displays particularly when using the full functionality of the 2 pane display. The number of times I accidentally change the view in the one I WAS working on instead of the other pane .... aarghh!".... or is it just me????
(other than that X2 is proving to be excellent - even after just a few days use!)
You can make the inactive pane more distinctive by setting its background color to a darker color than the default. Tools | Options... | Window | Inactive background
You can also set the active pane titlebar to the active window color with a registry tweak to further aid visual discrimination. (see registry.txt & set the DPF_HILITEACTIVEHEADER bit)
