Hi, Im starting to use xplorer2 after a certain period of usage of the old 2xexplorer.. I'm really discovering a bunch of very useful features. And I'm really happy with this.
I just want to ask you a few minor things:
1)-In the tree pane when I have a list of items, and I click on an Item it changes the font (this was not happening on the old 2x) and it becames larger .... so not aligned with the other items.. is there any way to disable this?
2)-Can I put the tree window on the top of the other two panes (as in the old 2x)?
3)-There is no way to make the right pane dependent from the left ? (A 3rd level browsing)
Thanks in advance and congratulation for the great tool, it is helping me a lot.
Mike

welcome, mike!
on 1) - The highlighted item is displayed in boldface by design (I don't know if this can be changed by the user); but you can avoid the changing width by selecting a monospace or boldface font as your default:
Tools | Options... | Window | Main font...
{BTW - My version of 2x has the same bolding/widening behaviour as the x² default. Maybe the system font used by 2x on your setup is monospace or bold already; but x² uses a more modern choice as its default.}
on 2) - No. But a good compromise on space is to stack the dual filepanes one abbove the other to make room for a wider treepane display to their left:
Tools | Options... | Window | Dual pane alignment: (x) horizontal
on 3) - No. The treepane does double-duty, piloting the filepanes one-at-a-time (the active one).
