trouble deleting folders
When getting rid of some old files, I found that I could also get rid of a folder or two. But xplorer2, after trying for a bit, gave me an error message that a program was using the folder. As far as I can tell, xplorer2 is the only program showing the folder. No programs were active in the task manger and Windows Explorer had no trouble deleting the directory.

(I presume you are trying to delete the folder from a treepane selection.)
The way x2 is currently implemented, you cannot delete a folder that you have open in the active folderpane.
The simplest workaround is to just go up a level, then delete the folder after selecting it in the folderpane. (At this point, you could delete it from the tree just as well; but working in the folder pane is surer -- especially if you have selected the "hands free" activation option, like most folks.)
PS: There have been many complaints about this, but nikos has yet to release a 'fix' to correct this nuisance limitation.
