Playing files in Winamp

Post by komobu »

Hi;

I have done a search for all the mp3 files on my harddrive and stored them in a saved scrap container. Now, I want to be able to tag several of the files in the scrap container and play them in Winamp. I think I will have to add a user command button for winamp. I understand that to be ">winamp" How do I add the tagged files so that they play?

Thanks for any help

i guess the token $a (all selected names) should do it
but if you have mp3s associated with winamp anyway, you can also right-click and "open" the selection, or drag-drop them to a winamp window

Thanks! :)  The $A did it. When I tried right clicking on the selection and then open, It only opened one song. Dragging the selection was ok, but I would have to ensure that winamp was open. I really like the user button. It is very convenient.
