Now, make sure again that no file is selected, put the focus on the tree view and try the same special selection as i explained just up there.
tristelune, in the second part, you tried the Lasso selection on the tree pane. This is not possible: it is designed for selecting one node at a time. The folder panes are the correct place to use a lasso selection.
To find the correct terms, please refer to User Manual p.15. refer to the numbers provided on the screenshot and also refer to the table.

How did you manage to get that? First of all, the tree pane won't show you a single file, let alone select them!
...but the focus don't go from the tree view to the filepane, it rest on the tree view.

this the problem? Then select the
Tools | Options menu. Select Windows (middle) tab. Put a tick in "automatically shift focus to view after activation" option. Press
OK. Now as soon as you click on any node in the folder tree pane, the focus will jump back to the folder pane.
But you have not mentioned anything about the problem you reported in your first post (something about being able to deleting the folder while only some files in it are highlighted)...
