I notice that when i click the tree in explorer2, it doesn't expand the subitems automatically (same as in windows explorer) this is realyl annoying especially when one would want to browse items easily via that tree....
feature?
Clickable tree same as in windows explorer

an other issue:
when i use windows explorer, if i use the context menu
to create a zip archive of selected files, the focus after the operation complete is on the new created archive zip file.
in xplorer2, the focus remains on the last file i have selected???
also the same issue is for overwriting cut/copy/paste, the focus (selection)
will not be on the new pasted item???

In any case this is not a major issue:
Why would a user want to focus on the resultant zip? To move it? But then he should have created the zip in the destination folder directly, with the correct conext menu option.
On the other hand, he may delete the original files after zipping them; although this is not so likely either. It is most likely that the source files remain as they are.
***
This happens with merging also: after merging split parts, the focus remains on the split parts. You can use this fact to your advantage: simply delete the split files as they are no more useful.

The explorer2, suppose to be extensive explorer right? meaning it should mimic the basic actions of explorer plus more....Why would a user want to focus on the resultant zip? To move it? But then he should have created the zip in the destination folder directly, with the correct conext menu option.
focus on resultant zip, is basic explorer action, therefore is expected in exploere2. why should I have a focus on the resultant zip, well I often use 'Sent To-->Mail recipient' and it is more convenient for me to stay focus on the resultant zip.
agree! can't we enjoy both worldsThis happens with merging also: after merging split parts, the focus remains on the split parts. You can use this fact to your advantage: simply delete the split files as they are no more useful.

No quite often it does a smarter thing. (And then some other explorer replacements follow!)meaning it should mimic the basic actions of explorer plus more....
Take the history chain for example: x2's history chain behaves quite differently-- it has three major advantages compared to explorer. Refer to User Manual for details...
