1.1.0.91 crashes on music CDs

Hello, Nikos

Whenever I try to access a CD or DVD drive containing a music CD, xplorer2 crashes.

It only crashes with music CDs, not with DVDs (data or video) or data CDs.

I've tried four methods of access (from the tree, by clicking within the pane, by the Alt+F1 menu, and by Ctrl+Shift+X). It is always the same. There is no last error from the Help menu.

I reinstalled with a clean registry, but this did not help.

At the same time, both x2 Lite 1.1.0.3 and x2 Pro 1.1.0.90 work fine.

So I am back to 1.1.0.90 for now.

Is it something to do with the new anti-tampering device?

I can confirm this, too (on XP sp2): "x2 - explorer replacement has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

My own copy is ill-mannered: it closes instantly, without any message.

Forgot to mention: I am on XP SP2, too.

what kind of music are we talking about? x2 like its maker can get fussy about musical quality
