Any way to switch horizontal and vertical view quickly?

Is there a way to create a icon or assign short cut key to switch between horizontal and vertical view?

Hi,

Yes i would love this too, currently i just created a saved window version but it would be nice to just switch back and forth with a button rather than open a new instance with each change.
