XP columns

Post by nikos »

windows XP by default has some column handlers for image and audio data (artist, image dimensions etc). Do these things actually work? When you have pictures with exif data, will you see anything in the Dimension column? Or can you see the Artist name in case of an MP3 with id3 tags?

i am thinking what to add without duplicating existing functionality
if it ain't broken why fix it?
thanks for any feedback

Year

The three XP-native EXIF columns [Camera Model; Date Picture Taken; Dimensions] all work for me with images from both my own camera and with the the sample set from EXIF.org

Also the Pixvu "EXIF:..."  columns work; but not all are populated with data.

that's great
i think my xp got buggered (at least for jpegs) when i uninstalled pixvue. Not only did it remove its columns but somehow messed up the prior JPG registration info. For a x2-recommended product it is kind of insulting :)
