moving locks up xplorer2

When moving files from one location to another I am not able to do anything else until this has completed - not a problem with a few files but I just moved a batch that took around 15 minutes. This meant that I couldn't do anything else - not even click on a file - for that amount of time. Also when moving mp3 files if I click on a different music file to play it loads all the files that are being moved and then of course that function crashes as the files are locked. First, any suggestions that would move in the background and second is this function different in the pro version?

AFIK, the Lite version calls a standard windoze Explorer routine to do the work, with priority set at "normal".

In contranst, the Pro version has a backgound priority option and has its own robust transfer routine.

the lite version can also do limited multitasking but for some reason you can't use the mouse in the same pane as that the current operation is acting upon (e.g where you dragged the files from). Keyboard should work as normal though, albeit a bit sluggish

the solution to all this of course is to use the pro version that has true multitasking background operations with lots of extra options for flexibility and robustness
