Hi,
I noticed that when I tried to delete folders x2 wouldn't let me if the folder was selected in the folder tree. I had to select the parent folder and then delete the folder in the second pane. I'm not sure if the third pane also showed the folder; I think so, but I don't know if that's a factor.
And a question: with Pro, can one set up a Quicklaunch type of toolbar? I'm very used to that function in Powerdesk 4.
Nice software.
Thanks,
p.

for the deletion problem see the FAQ
the pro version has some kind of "quicklaunch" in the form of "user commands" (Customize menu). There you can assign commands you want launched either from toolbar or keyboard, and you can also pass arguments from the selected files
another possibility would be to use a scrap container as a holder for all your favorite tools; if you save that then you can reload it with a single shortcut on your desktop bearing this command:

Thanks, nikos.
The FAQ doesn't entirely make sense on the deletion problem. As I'm only deleting to the Recycle Bin this shouldn't be a problem according to it, yet it is a problem.
What's more, I see that even the New Folder command is not allowed when the focus is in the folder pane. x2 is more sensitive to this condition than anything I've used prior.
IAC, unlocking the browsed folder seems to be the solution, but I'm not sure how costly the ramifications are; probably not very, to me.
The quicklaunch you describe sounds pretty much like what I'm looking for.
Thanks much for your input.
