Question about languages

Post by Ken Hartmann »

I am using an Windows XP English version as my OS, but I have files on my system created by my wife which have file names in Japanese.  Can I view both the names of these files in Japanese, so that we can do proper file management?  Currently, I see nothing but question marks.  This was true even when I specified Japanese as the primary language.  At that time the menus and displays were in Japanese (not my preference) but the file names were still unreadable.

If this requires the professional version, please let me know.  I am a fan of the old 2xExplorer and am hoping to use the new version on my wife's machine.

yes, you need the unicode-enabled pro version
if you install it you should be able to see all the filenames properly
