Disable annoying feature...

Post by Tel »

I've been using xplorer2x for quite some time now and so far its working quite well... with the exception of the sorting capabilities. I mean the sorting works just fine but it always jumps to the currently highlighted position which is extremely annoying. If I'm sorting files lets say by date I'm doing this for a reason - usually to find a certain file from a certain date. Most definitely I don't want to find the highlighted file again... This feature makes absolutely no sense at all and worst of all I can't find a way to disable it, it seems to be hard-coded. Or am I missing something and there's some hack to bring back normal functionality to this otherwise great Explorer replacement?

Actually this is a 'feature' added explicitly to appease folks who definitely wanted to keep the current fucused item in view.
As this is at least the second request I recall for reverting to the windoze habitual presentation, I hope that nikos will add it to the users' wishlist for a user preference option (maybe as a registry tweak).

Does this mean that there's a beta somewhere for the lite version too?
