The drivebar in 2xExplorer is so cool that when I saw it wasn't in Xplorer2, I uninstalled it and back to the old thing.
Yes, you must restart the program to refresh the drives but that's not big deal. The drop-down drive list isn't as cool, as visual.

Although not labelled as such in changes.txt, the drivebar appears to be a PRO-only feature for xplorer²
