Long delay on initial network access

First of all, this is a wonderful product and I cringe when I'm at work and need to use Windows Explorer  :evil: .

When I first access a network share on my home network, the program freezes for several seconds.  During the freeze I can see the contents of the network folder, but the network path shows the previous local path.  After a few seconds, all is well.  I'm currently using Xplorer2 1.7.0.5 LITE, but I've had the same issue with earlier versions.

this is down to network availability, or perhaps you are sorting the contents by a "hard" column or perhaps you have infotips enabled

to soften the blow you can use ctrl+N to open network folders in a new window thread. That means that the old window will remain responsive so you can continue your work
