Panes mutually prevent folder deletion (bug?)

Hi all
I'm an Xplorer2 newbie, and am mostly very pleased it.  However, i thought i'd post here what seems to be a bug, that irritated me several times in the ~1 week i'm using the software.

Try the following:
-Create some folder, say 'My Documents/test'
-navigate to the parent of the new folder (My documents) in the folder tab and press the 'test' folder so that it is viewed in the active pane,
-try and delete the test folder *from the folder tree*.

What i get (on an XP pro SP2) is an error saying the folder cannot be deleted as it is being used. (obviously the only possible user being Xplorer2 itself..).

the two viewing panes do not block each other in that way - they seem just to block the folder tree.

Searching the forums/FAQ so far came up with nothing.
Any insight/workaround?

Hi Ofek,

Welcome to the board!

If your work habit is to use the tree pane for deleting folders, then check the option Do not lock browsed folder (on the Tools | Options... | Advanced tab).

Actually that is a known feature, and has been discussed at length on the board, and described in the docs.  (try a search on lock browsed folder, including ALL terms)

Edit/ PS - Although that was said to have been 'fixed' for most cases in recent versions of x2 even without Don't lock browsed folder selected, I just tried it with both the Pro & LITE versions 1.7.0.5 and find that the issue remains.

I guess i didn't have the right keywords in mind while searching.   It's amazing to see the degree of customizability of this software!
