Copy As Path

Post by JPL »

It would be really useful to have the Vista-style Copy As Path in the right-click menu within xplorer2.

"Copy As Path takes the full path of the folder or file you've selected, puts quote marks at the beginning and end of the name, and pastes the quote-enclosed path name into the Windows clipboard. If you Shift+Right-Click on a network drive or file and choose Copy As Path, you get the fully qualified path with double quotes. For example: \\SANUK\Bigfiles\A Big One.xls"

you can use <alt+C> and <alt+shift+C> on the selected file for the same effect. For UNC path you can get it in a roundabout way throught the $U token

Nikos,

Oops!  I missed that in the documentation.

Thanks for your help.

It'd be nice to have that option in the context (r-click) menu
