What exactly does Shift+* do in the tree panes of both xplorer2 and 2X Explorer?
At first it seems to explode a node but if you press it a few more times it shows duplicates of the node but these are not really created because if you go back to the folder later there will be no change.
That's a known anomaly.
Pressing Shift+* in the tree pane on a node which already displays subfolders does nothing more than show a duplicate indented list of the subfolder names.
Nothing is created except confusion. :o
