File names in different languages

Hey I've got a question I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with.
I use xplorer2 under the English locale settings but some of my file names are written in other languages such as chinese or japanese and xplorer2 is unable to display them properly and replaces them with question marks.
If i change my locale setting to say chinese then I can see the proper file names, is there some way to get around changing my locale settings to see the file names?
I see that the normal explorer for windows is able to do this and wondered if it was more of a setting issue then a feature one.

for that you need the unicode version of the program which is only available for the professional version
