I just downloaded the latest xPlorer2 0.0.0.23 and the dual pain is fantastic, I loved that feature in 2x Explorer and was eagerly awaiting it in xPlorer, too bad theres not a choice vertical or horizontal dual pane though, oh well, maybe in time.
But the reason for this post is there is every column conceivable and I only ever use Name (including extension), Size, Date, is there no way to only show certain columns without drag and resizing everytime, as xPlorer refuses to remember state??
BTW - Most excellent File manager around is 2x Explorer and now xPlorer, thanx a heap
as i mention in the website, xplorer2 is not a viable alternative to 2xExplorer yet. But it is under development, so watch this space, for column selection and beyond!
I'm a Windows 98 user :eh: and this is the list of columns that I get in the details view:

Sometime when you get time, could you add a filter to the code to screen out the replicated columns?? eg. 'Name' is there three times although the first two instances do not include the suffix. Maybe the first two 'name' columns could be dropped and just the one with the suffix used?
that's column revolution for you, you wait years for an extra column and then 19 come at the same time
ok, here's the story:
columns 2-15 (Medium-Name) are x2's native stock columns. The 4 last are given gratis Windows (win95 users won't see these), which are repetitions but less efficient at that. The first column (Name) is a repetition of column #15 which i did just to have the name first. Don't ask me why, I just got lazy and didn't invert the order of the stock columns
anyway, all this will get much better when column selection GUI is added to allow users to customize column visibility
