Unfortunately, I have Vista on my notebook and it gives me an error when I exit xplorer2:

When I run x2 Lite (v 1.7.1.4) on my laptop under Vista, I do *not* get any error upon Exit. [nor have I ever seen it with x2-Pro].
Does it happen every time for you?
Has the issue only recently started?
(& if so, what had you installed after when the issue did not appear?)
Can you see any details in the error report that names the specific "Microsoft Deprecated DLL Component" ?
PS - The issue may be caused by a non-compliant shell extension you have installed. X2 gets the 'blame' because it uses the shell extensively. Take a look at this topic, for example.
