Slow startup and drive enumuration

I have enabled dual panel. Usually there are 3-5 tabs in each panel. Now when I launch x2 the startup is slow. It takes about 10-15 seconds or even more. I don't know the exact reason but it looks when the tab has mostly folders then startup is quicker than if tabs contains files, exe. Is this normal?

Secondly I started using the drive menu button over tree. And enumerating the drives takes 5-10 seconds? Wonder why this is so slow.

some folders are slower to access than others, e.g. network drives. It looks like you have some disconnected mapped network drives in "my computer" which are causing the delay

Well I'm not connected to any network, so network drives or folders are not present.

Does the program try to read contents of each tab or only visible tab, on startup? As I said i have usually more than one tab so want to know if it's the possibility.

What abt the slow drives menu. I don't have n/w drives still it's slow

I'm trying to create my first post to discuss a bug I found. Unfortunately, the forum has some terribly ridiculous rule that says you must have at least one post already, before you can post a topic that has imbedded links or URL's. Since the post I'm trying to make is my first, and it has imbedded links, I had to find another topic I could reply to in order to satisfy that nonsense. :x
