File/folder locking prevents deletion

I've already checked "Don't lock browsed folder", but sometimes I still can't delete a folder* even after I close xplorer completely. If I look in task manager when this happens, I can see an xplorer2 lite process still running (with no xplorer windows open), and killing that lets me delete the folder.

* = I should clarify this - when deleting, I'm generally doing it from my desktop, not from within xplorer2. Most of the time I'm deleting from the desktop without even having xplorer2 running but I still have this issue. I believe it happens when it was the last folder I had open in xplorer when shutting it down.

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit using xplorer2 lite... are there any known issues regarding this?

When you close its window, it is an x2 feature to stay resident (for quick re-use) if you elected "Explorer replacement mode" upon installation.

Use Alt+X (File > Exit) to really close x2.

Thanks, 2nd thread with the advanced setting to "not stay resident" after closing the window seems to do the trick!

btw - I know it's kept running by default to speed things up, but (maybe it's just my fast machine) I don't notice a difference in startup time at all, so I'm not sure that should be the default nowadays. Maybe it's different on slower machines...

It's not my design, but I suspect the rationale has less to do with machine speed than with network connectivity startup response times for the increasing number of folks who use x2 on network-connected machines.
