lite version 1.8

The free lite version has been updated to v1.8, which means it will work nicely with windows 7 (and a few other improvements)

can you please try if the toolbar installation for IE and firefox works properly and let me know if there are any problems? Just opt-in when asked about the toolbar:

if you don't need the toolbar you can uninstall it afterwards. But if you try it I am sure you will like it

to make sure the latest toolbar version was installed check the About box; for IE version should be 5.5.0.10 and for FF 2.5.8.6

I just upgraded and everything works fine so far (I mean the app not the toolbar, which I don't use - SeaMonkey user here).

It's great that now we can drag and drop to rearrange tabs.

What kind of data is that toolbar collecting and sending to which company?

the toolbar isn't collecting any data. It merely presents some contextual advertisements whenever you search for something

According to the screenshot, it is developed by Conduit, so I really wonder what benefit Conduit takes here. (Might be a bit of paranoia, too.)

Ehm, funny. When I try to DL the Lite version, it still gives me v1.7.2.7.
Your mirroring is one of the very few things I basically hate on the website. I can never be sure that I got the newest version. Bleh.
