xplorer lite will not run

I first installed the latest version over the older version of lite that I have.  When I installed the latest version I did not uninstall the earlier version.  When

I looked at the installation the date on the executable was March 2006.  So, I uninstalled that complete version and re-installed the whole ting again.  Now I have a fresh installation with the right date for the executable and a desktop icon and it will not run.  When I first installed it, the shortcut pointed to the "snap" folder so I changed that to point to the executable and it still will not run.  

Any ideas?  I can re-install it again and again.

is there a xplorer2 process in task manager? (please check the processes tab)

also tell us your system details, xplorer2 version, windows version, antivirus etc

I am running XP OS and explorer lite although I still sometimes use 2Xexplorer.  Anyway.  I re-installed explorer lite and then restarted everything.  It is running now.  I am very happy with the program!
