more xplorer2 integration on Win7 ?

Post by Viper73 »

Hello !

I use the xplorer2lite on my Window7-64bit and it is great. When i click on an directory on the desktop the xplorer2 opens, so this works fine.

But i have one problem which is very frustrating:
When i plug in an usb-stick or an CD there comes an window with the "automatic playback". When i click on "open directory to show files" then the windows explorer starts instead of the xplorer2. Is it possible to change this in the windows registry ? I want the xplorer2 to start instead of the windows explorer.

Greets, Viper

(maybe the descriptions of the windows buttons are not exactly right because i use an german windows version and dont know the exactly english translations...)

is xplorer2 assigned for the DRIVE type? Check with your regedit, under the key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive

I dont know. Thats what i found in the regedit:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\open\command\
"C:\Program Files (x86)\xplorer2_lite\xplorer2_lite.exe" /M "%1"

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\find\command\
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe
(when i change this to xplorer2 nothing happens, also after a restart)

Is that what you mean ? If not, there is nothing elso in the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\" with an xplorer2_lite.exe entry ...

What should be in this regedit folder that will fix my problem ?
