'sokay. So long as I'm not riding on any narsty bugs, (haven't noticed any quite yet anyways) I'm happy with 1102.
OK here's something new... I just tried it from the Blackbox 4 Windows shell (no explorer running) and it opens, but the 'about' box reports it as 1.1.0.2, whereas right-clicking xplorer2.exe and selecting 'properties' it says 1,1,0,3 (just like that, with the commas and all)
Hmmm... curiouser and curiouser...

Yes. but you should take precautions that the two do not 'talk' to each other, or test results will be confusing.
The easiest 'rule' to follow is to only have one of the versions 'open' at a time: In other words, be sure to close all instances of the one before opening the other.
But you can be more sophisticated if you open each in a different process (see information in the Quick Start guide on the use of the /P commandline switch).
You may also want to test different layouts and start each version with its own layout (again with a commandline switch). See the quick start guide and/or the user manual for details.
Yet, still the two versions cannot be separated entirely. They will share the settings contained in the .global registry key.
(Except the Pro[unicode] version of x2 has a completely different keyset from the Lite version, which is non-Unicode only)
I hope this helps.
