I have read in the full manual that x2 doesn't really need an installer and I didn't like it. I want your opinion.

This is a valid question, with legitimate arguments for either case, even if only a minority cares about it.
& 'twould be more valid if there were an "
It doesn't matter to me. " option to choose from. ;)

I don't care (this option is not available), but I it is easy. Maybe do it both ways?

installer is good especially for the lite version so people will know what kind of contract they are getting themselves into

zip is good especially for work - no new install with admin privileges necessary, only unzip in existing folder (as normal user)....

this problem can be circumvented
once you have installed in your work PC then you can unpack (install) somewhere you have admin privileges (e.g. your home computer) and just copy the files to your work
